Area Info

Heritage Park Amphitheatre is nestled in Simpsonville, in the rolling hills of northwestern South Carolina. Simpsonville had its beginnings in the 1820s, at a crossroads where the Old Stage Road intersected a former Cherokee trail, later named the Georgia Road. Simpsonville is in the heart of the Golden Strip area (made up of the towns of Mauldin, Simpsonville, and Fountain Inn), one of the fastest-growing areas in the Southeast, and is located just 12 miles south of the city of Greenville.

In 2010, Simpsonville was named one of the “10 Best Towns for Families” by Family Circle Magazine, and in 2011 it was dubbed one of the “25 Best Affordable Cities” by Money Magazine. Greenville has been growing in popularity and prestige over the last decade or so, and Simpsonville is part of that wave – featuring great restaurants, parks, entertainment options, and a truly family friendly community.
